Machine made rugs:

Rugs are woven by machine on a power loom. Yarns are placed into the foundation by computer control.

Machine made rug manufacturing has become a very sophisticated industry in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. The finest handmade designs can now be expertly copied with machine made rugs. Machine made rugs are mainly made with wool, polypropylene (olefin), nylon, and cotton. The consumer can purchase sizes from 2 ft. x 3 ft. up to 10 ft. x 14 ft. in any style or color for a fraction of the cost of handmade rugs.
